On 17th October, the UK government introduced a new three-tiered system to categorise different areas of the country into COVID-19 risk levels. Under this system, the three tiers are currently: medium (Tier 1), high (Tier 2) and very high (Tier 3). Most of England is currently under Tier 1 but our central London location at 77 Harley Street places us in Tier 2 (high).

What London’s Tier 2 Restrictions Mean For Your Visit to 77 Harley Dental Practice
The good news is that we’re still open and accepting new patients. If you’ve visited us since we reopened on 8th June, you’ll find the experience to be pretty much the same with the new Tier 2 restrictions in place. However, we are still running with a decreased capacity as we must allow additional time for cleaning and preparation. We recommend booking an appointment within good time to ensure availability.
Here’s what to expect when you book an appointment with us during the COVID pandemic:
First, if you have a temperature, COVID-19 like symptoms or have been in contact with anyone who has been confirmed to have COVID-19 follow the government’s guidelines and let us know so that we can rearrange your appointment.
Two days before your appointment, you will be sent a text with a link prompting you to update your medical history.
Around 30 minutes before your appointment, you will receive a self-check-in text. Check-in via the link just before your appointment time so that we can meet you at the reception area. (This is to help us limit the number of people in the reception area and minimise potential contact between people.)All of our team members will be wearing PPE.
We’ll take your temperature and provide you with a face mask if you don’t have one.
If your temperature is normal, we’ll take you up to the surgery for your treatment.
After the treatment has finished, we’ll book you in for another appointment if required.
You can now leave the surgery. We’ll send you a text with a secure link for payment. You can pay with your phone (via Google/Apple pay) or with a card – whichever is easiest for you.
